Isle of Skye

I visited this folk village on the Isle of Skye. The homes function as they did in the past.  There are working looms, peat fires, farms and so much more.  These homes were smokey and cold especially in the winter but the hardy Scots kept warm in the evening by sitting close to a peat burning fire telling stories and singing songs.  I am sure they had a glass of home distilled whisky in their hands too.  Why not?.
