Clothesline and Sheep

Tory Island is a small island off the northern coast of Ireland.  The town is very small but absolutely lovely.  We walked the streets in the sunshine, talked to the people who live there and took some photos. I love to paint what lies behind the houses and in this painting I collaged together my impression of what I had seen in this town.  Clothes blowing in the breeze, sheep, pastel homes, flowers and the green hills of Ireland.
