Kisimul Castle, Isle of Barra

Castlebay Hotel, surrounded by red flowers overlooks Kisimul Castle with a view of the sea behind.  Kisimul is an ancient MacNeill Castle and built entirely of rock. You can visit it by boat. The town of Castlebay is a beautiful town and a perfect stopping off point for exploring the small island.  Lots of hiking trails to be found!
