Kisimul Castle, Barra

We have visited the beautiful Isle of Barra, in the Outer Hebrides several times.  This medieval castle sits on Castle Island very close to Castlebay, Barra. It is the ancestral home of the Clan MacNeill. A garden of flowers surrounded our hotel which overlooked this stunning view.
